Vintage 1960s Countess Cis Cissy Zoltowska Rainbow Rhinestone Gun Metal Bib Necklace

An incredibly rare and show stopping piece of costume jewellery. This fabulous necklace dates to the 1960s and was designed by Countess Cis Zoltowska, a prominent designer for Balenciaga, Balmain and Jacques Faith.

The necklace features colourful Austrian paste stones set into gunmetal grey bases. Some of the stones have a slightly frosted opaque surface.
The necklace is finished with the signature hook clasp and is signed both on the necklace and the clasp 'CIS' with the crown cartouche.

- Parts of the necklace have been lovingly restored as it originally came to me with some minor issues.
There has been one replacement stone and some of the stones have had to be reset to ensure that they sit properly. There are some metal remnants attatched to the metal of the bottom row of the necklace which cannot be seen when the piece is worn (picture 4).
The work put in to this necklace has taken the piece back to its original standard and overall the necklace remains in lovely condition and looks truly amazing when worn.

Length - 14.5 inches
Date - 1960s
